Stadiums re-open for Serie A and reimbursement methods through “Super vouchers” for BNL International tennis tournament
The 77th edition of the International BNL of Italy has just ended this week and it is already time to think about the next one. Starting from Thursday 24 September 2020, the “Super voucher” campaign will start for holders of the May coupons of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia 2020. Compared to the provisions of the DPCM regarding the refreshment of purchase tickets relating to shows and sporting events , FIT and Sport e Salute have decided to provide some extra benefits for spectators. Starting from the value of the super voucher, which will be increased by 25% compared to the nominal value of the ticket purchased.
The user, therefore, will be able to have a higher sum than that invested and will have freedom of use on all major FIT events: International BNL of Italy 2021 or 2022, ATP Finals of Turin 2021 or Next Gen ATP Finals of Milan. 2021. Those who had purchased tickets or season tickets online will receive the e-mail with the electronic super voucher directly. Those who contacted the ticket offices in the area will have 30 days to request the super voucher following the instructions that will be published in the next few hours on the ticketing.internazionalibnlditalia.com website.
Using the super voucher will be particularly simple. Once logged into the ticketing.internazionalibnlditalia.com platform, simply select the tickets to be purchased and enter the super voucher code at the time of payment. In case of purchase of tickets with a value higher than the voucher, it will be possible to integrate the credit and complete the operation. The ticket office of the International BNL d’Italia 2021 will be open by 15 October with 10 days of pre-emption for super voucher holders. In November the ticket office of the Turin Atp Finals and the Next Gen Atp Finals in Milan will open.
As for the Serie A championship, the government has officially given the green light to the reopening of the stadiums: starting from Sunday, a thousand spectators will be allowed in every Serie A match. The decision, provisional in terms of forms and figures, was taken during a meeting convened by Minister Boccia with the Regions, after Veneto and Lombardy had followed the example of Emilia Romagna after the green light of the minister of sport, Vincenzo Spadafora, at the entrance of the fans to the Foro Italico from the semi-finals of the Internazionali.
From today to 7th October we will work to find a shared plan between the government and the regions in view of the next Dpcm, also based on the Health and Cts assessments of the epidemiological curve, to define a percentage of entry that takes into account the capacity of the plants for each sport. The ordinances signed by the presidents of the Veneto and Lombardy Regions, for example, provide for the access of 1,000 people in the outdoor facilities and 700 in those indoors, in which it is possible to pre-assign seats. If indoors, spectators must wear a mask for the duration of the event; outdoors, the mask must be worn from the entrance until reaching the place and every time you leave, including the moment of outflow.
The order also indicates “the use of digital technologies” to automate the organization of entrances, avoid “foreseeable gatherings” and to allow the registration of spectators; imposes gates for public access to avoid gatherings when checking the temperature and tickets. Prohibits the entry of banners and flags; arranges the outflow of spectators in groups at the end of the event; a steward service must be activated with the task of assisting the public and checking compliance with the measures. The order was issued “pending the guidelines of state competence relating to national and international championships”. In light of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 7 August, extended until 8 October, “the conditions exist – the text reads – to authorize the holding of matches of national championships in the presence of the public in compliance with the provisions specified in the device”.
